Selective before acceptance. Committed during activation. Performance-based after market review.
NXC identifies Korean beauty brands and products with the potential to compete in North American retail environments.
Through our Korea office and brand-side network, we coordinate the initial collection of product, commercial and supply information. Each opportunity enters the pipeline with a defined Hero SKU, product positioning, target customer, wholesale cost, inventory availability, lead times and reorder capacity.
Sourcing does not mean that every submitted brand will be presented to a retail partner. It establishes whether the brand has enough commercial clarity and operating readiness to enter NXC's formal evaluation process.
NXC's role: NXC coordinates the initial brand conversation, organizes the information required for evaluation and identifies the products most relevant to North American channel opportunities.
A documented brand opportunity ready for commercial and channel-readiness screening.
The objective is not to build the largest pipeline. It is to build a pipeline worth evaluating.
Every product is screened before it reaches a potential retail partner.
NXC reviews whether the product is commercially viable, operationally prepared and relevant to a specific North American channel. The review considers both the strength of the consumer proposition and the brand's ability to support a real retail placement.
A differentiated product alone is not enough. The product must also have workable pricing, sufficient shelf life, reliable supply, usable documentation and a clear reason to belong in the proposed channel.
Products that are not ready may be returned for revision, placed on hold or removed from the active pipeline.
NXC's role: NXC coordinates readiness screening and documentation review.
Proceed · Revise · Hold · Decline
Final regulatory, labeling, import and legal responsibilities remain with the relevant brand, manufacturer, importer and commercial parties.
The screen protects both sides:the partner's time and the brand's opportunity.
Qualified products are converted into a focused, channel-specific opportunity for partner review, presented on an agreed review cadence.
NXC does not send the same brand list to every company. Each presentation is shaped around the partner's format, customer profile, price architecture, product-selection standards and preferred placement format, and timed to its line review where the partner runs one.
The objective is to reduce review friction. Instead of receiving a large catalog, the partner receives a limited shortlist with the commercial information needed to make an informed selection decision.
NXC's role: NXC organizes the opportunity into a buyer-ready format, explains why each product was selected and coordinates questions between the partner and the participating brand.
A concise product shortlist prepared for buyer or line review.
The presentation is not a catalog. It is a commercial recommendation.
The channel partner reviews the proposed products and selects only the brands and SKUs that fit its assortment and commercial requirements.
Before acceptance, the partner has no obligation to select every brand, accept every SKU, commit to a broader assortment. Product acceptance remains selective and channel-specific.
Once a product is formally accepted, NXC coordinates the placement terms with the participating brand and channel partner. This establishes the product, quantity, activation format, operating period and responsibilities required to move forward.
NXC's role: NXC coordinates the placement terms between the participating brand and the channel partner.
A formally accepted product with a defined placement structure.
Selective before acceptance. Committed during activation.
The partner selects what fits.Acceptance turns selection into an operating commitment.
After product acceptance, the participating brand underwrites the agreed quantity of sellable inventory the placement will run on.
This allows the channel partner to activate and evaluate the product without making an upfront product purchase for the initial placement. The inventory is intended to support real customer exposure and commercial testing, not simply internal product review.
Depending on the channel and activation format, the brand may also provide testers, display units, subscription units, sampling inventory, product education and retail-ready marketing materials.
NXC's role: NXC coordinates the required quantities, product information, delivery timing and brand-side preparation needed for the agreed activation.
Placement inventory and activation materials prepared for launch.
Placement quantity, inventory ownership, freight, duties, sales proceeds, returns, settlement and unsold inventory are agreed separately for each activation.
No upfront product purchase for the placement.Real inventory for a real market placement.
Once a product is accepted and supplied, it moves into the activation format agreed with the channel partner.
Activation is not limited to product sampling or internal review. The accepted product must be uploaded, displayed, included or featured through the defined channel for the agreed period or cycle.
NXC coordinates the operating connection between the brand and the channel partner, helping ensure that the product information, content, inventory and activation requirements are prepared for launch.
NXC's role: NXC supports setup, content coordination, partner communication, brand-side follow-up and activation troubleshooting.
An accepted product live in a defined North American selling environment.
Once accepted, the channel partner is expected to maintain the agreed activation, manage the supplied inventory and support the defined placement conditions.
Selection creates opportunity.Activation creates evidence.
NXC and the channel partner review the performance information available during and after the placement.
The measurement framework depends on the activation format and the data the partner is able to provide. An online listing, physical-store placement, subscription-box inclusion and live-commerce feature will not produce the same data or require the same success criteria.
The purpose is not to force every product toward expansion, and NXC does not set the bar. The partner reads the response against its own criteria and decides whether the product has earned a commercial next step.
NXC's role: NXC documents the placement decision and the recommended commercial next step.
The partner's decision: order, extend, adjust, reposition or discontinue.
Every placement should end with a decision, not an impression.
Products that demonstrate sufficient demand or strategic channel fit may progress from placement activation into a paid commercial relationship.
Conversion does not always mean immediate national distribution. The next step should reflect what the placement actually proved. A product may move into a first wholesale order, repeat orders, an extended placement, additional doors, a new activation format or another qualified channel.
NXC coordinates the commercial follow-through between the participating brand and channel partner so that the results of the placement can become a practical purchasing and supply plan.
NXC's role: NXC coordinates the commercial follow-through between the participating brand and the channel partner.
A defined commercial outcome based on demonstrated market response.
Participation in a market placement does not guarantee a wholesale order. Purchasing decisions remain subject to performance, retail-partner approval, agreed commercial terms and available supply.
Proven demand earnsthe next commercial step.
